Niseko Ski Rental Guide. Niseko is a must-visit destination for all skiing enthusiasts. It attracts visitors from all over the world during peak season who come to experience the legendary “JAPOW” – Japan’s finest powder snow. Niseko’s ski resort consists of four main resorts under the Niseko United, all centered around Mount Annupuri. The resorts are interconnected by cable cars and shuttle buses, and visitors can purchase a Niseko United all-mountain pass which grants access to all four resorts with just one ticket.

To get to Niseko, the most convenient modes of transportation are by car or bus. You can take a bus from New Chitose Airport or Sapporo City. Here are some useful bus information and reservation links:

KKday : You can reserve Hokkaido Resort Liner bus tickets to Rusutsu and Niseko in English interface.
Hokkaido Resort Liner : The bus stops at Rusutsu and other stations on the way to Niseko.

CHUO BUS : The bus runs directly from New Chitose Airport or Sapporo City to Niseko.

Niseko is a popular destination and can get very crowded during peak season, even with more foreigners than locals. The cost of skiing and other basic expenses, such as accommodation and equipment rental, is among the highest in Japan. For beginners, it may not be the most cost-effective option, and it is recommended that you have basic skiing skills before visiting Niseko to fully enjoy the diverse terrain and abundance of powder snow.
